Sao Paulo firefighters rescued the consul of the United Arab Emirates, Abdalla Shaheen, who had been stuck in his car due to the flood, pulling him out of the vehicle’s roof and similarly saving two security guards.
Last night heavy rains caused disruption throughout the city of St. Paul, where there were 36 flooded areas. In the central region, 95,8 millimeters of rain fell in just two hours. Firefighters are still searching for a 42-year-old man who disappeared after being dragged from the water.
